Effective from 20 September 2026. By creating an account, purchasing membership or selecting “I agree”, you accept these terms.
1. Eligibility
Membership and club-organised events are for adults aged 18 and over. You must provide accurate information, keep your account private and ensure any guest attending an 18+ event is also 18 or older. We may request reasonable proof of age.
2. What the club provides
Clear Social is an alcohol-free adult social club offering organised activities, social connection and partner benefits. It is not a medical, counselling, rehabilitation, crisis-support or recovery service.
3. Membership and payment
Planned membership is $15 per week when paid memberships launch, subject to the final offer shown at checkout. Paid membership renews weekly until cancelled. Joining the launch-interest list is free and does not create a paid membership or authorise charges. Event tickets, meals, transport and activity costs are separate unless expressly included. We will give reasonable notice of price changes.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Fees already paid are not normally refundable for change of mind. Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Events and bookings
Places may be limited and are not confirmed until your booking is accepted. Follow the deadline, cancellation and safety requirements shown for each event. Third-party venues may apply their own terms and refund policies. Dates, venues, prices and availability may change due to weather, closures, illness or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Alcohol-free standard
Members and guests must not bring or consume alcohol at events specifically organised and advertised by Clear Social as alcohol-free. A third-party venue may separately serve the general public. Anyone whose intoxication or conduct creates discomfort or a safety concern may be refused entry or asked to leave.
7. Respectful conduct
Treat members, hosts, venue staff and the public respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, unwanted sexual conduct, illegal behaviour and unauthorised selling are not permitted. We may warn, suspend or cancel a membership for serious or repeated breaches.
8. Safety
You participate voluntarily and must decide whether an activity suits your health, fitness and experience. Follow organiser and venue safety instructions. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, you are responsible for your own transport, belongings and decisions. Call 000 in an emergency.
9. RSVPs and member visibility
Event pages may show attendance totals and the first name, display name or profile photo of members who RSVP. By submitting an RSVP, you consent to that limited information being visible to signed-in members. Full contact details will not be displayed without permission.
10. Photos
We may take photographs at selected events after giving reasonable notice. Tell the organiser if you do not want to be photographed. Separate permission will be sought before using an identifiable image in prominent advertising.
11. Partner offers
Partner offers are subject to availability and may change. Partner businesses are independent and responsible for their own products, services and conduct. Benefits cannot be transferred or combined unless permitted.
12. Privacy
We may collect your name, date of birth, email, membership and payment status, RSVPs, partner-offer redemptions and communication preferences to manage membership, organise events, provide benefits, measure partner activity, maintain safety and improve the club. Payment cards will be handled by a secure payment provider rather than stored by Clear Social.
13. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing excludes a right or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Clear Social is not responsible for indirect loss or loss caused by a member’s actions, an independent third party, events outside reasonable control or inaccurate information supplied by another organiser.
14. Complaints and changes
Send concerns to clearsocial89@gmail.com. We may update these terms and will provide reasonable notice of significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and applicable Commonwealth laws.
